ABOUT US
The groups fundamental aim is to authentically replicate the experiences of a regular soldier in the British Army from 1939-1945, following events precisely 80 years to the day.

With members experiencing the rigours of basic training as per a 1939 recruit to the regular army, their training and kit will undergo radical evolution over the coming six years, carefully mirroring the changes and events which happened 80 years ago.

Consulting original texts and sources, careful consideration has been taken in relation to uniform; personal equipment and training amongst others. The membership comprises many experienced living historians with a wealth of knowledge and from various backgrounds, coming together to create a unique and unparalleled project.

We are always seeking experienced and enthusiastic members to help develop the group and enhance our experience. To that end we are also keen to attend suitable venues across the UK. There is also a strong desire within the group to mark specific events in the near future, such as the retreat to Dunkirk & D-Day 80th celebrations.
